As we come to the end of this year’s annual celebration, one of our clients shared their personal thoughts on the importance of Medical Laboratory Professionals Week.
“Lab week is important to me because it allows the people behind the scenes to be recognized for aiding in the best possible care of patients. We are often forgotten about in healthcare because we are not on the frontlines. It is impossible to treat a patient without knowing what is happening within. Lab tests may be diagnostic or help aid in an overall diagnosis and ultimately provide answers to questions and set a path forward. We are the beginning, middle, and end point in a patient’s journey.”
